Introduction to Colour Mixing

In this workshop, participants will explore the realm of colour mixing with oil paints, catering to beginner and intermediate painters alike. Delve into fundamental colour theory principles and diverse colour mixing techniques using three basic colours and white.

Students will also learn about the properties of oil paints including how paint is made, how to safely use both paints and mediums, how to maintain your brushes and how to clean up properly.  You will even get to see how oil paint is made from scratch and experience mixing a small amount of your own pure colour.

Regardless of your experience level, this class provides a supportive environment for learning and experimentation. You will be amazed at how many rich and lush colours can be mixed from the bare basics.

By the workshop's conclusion, you will not only acquire valuable knowledge and skills in colour theory but also create a series of small oil painting studies.
