Introduction to Watercolour

Watercolour paint is a popular medium that we see as one of the most challenging to work with due to its “unforgivable” nature. In this course you will have the opportunity to explore and learn from our expert teacher Pilar de la Torre.

Lead by Pilar de la Torre, during the workshop we will explore:

• Colour mixing
• How to build tonal “washes”
• Basic drawing
• How to use watercolour and gouache to complete an image

Please note:
Basic materials are provided in the cost of each workshop. Students are welcome to bring their own if preferred.

Introductory workshops offer the student a unique opportunity to experience different modalities of art making in a structured and accessible manner. You will be surprised at what you can learn in a short workshop.
