This course is tailored for students seeking to enhance and advance their life drawing abilities through guided practice sessions with a nude model.
Under the tutoring of Melbourne Studio of Art's Foundation teacher, Pilar de la Torre, you will receive valuable instruction on approaching the intricate art of life drawing. Learn classical techniques that will help you build confidence and enhance your skills in this complex art form.
Throughout the program, students will learn:
- How to manage figure proportions and placement.
- The use of various drawing materials in figure drawing.
- Fundamentals of tone, form, perspective, and composition.
The class runs between 6:00pm - 9:30pm and includes one hour (6:00pm - 7:00pm) of tutoring, a 30-minute break and two hours of untutored life drawing (7:30 - 9:30pm). The untutored sessions will remain open to the public on a drop in basis.
Suitable for students and aspiring artists of all experience levels who aim to enhance their confidence and proficiency in figure drawing.
