Workshop details

Lead by Melbourne artist Pilar de la Torre, this workshop is designed to introduce to the student an array of tools to help simplify and make accessible different aspects of drawing.

In this workshop, students will learn how to be more objective about their observations and how to approach drawing complex forms. Students are free to go at their own pace as they will all receive individual critiques on their drawings throughout the day.

This course is suitable for beginners who wish to explore the drawing medium.

Basic materials are provided in the cost of each workshop. Students are welcome to bring their own if preferred.

Introductory workshops offer the student a unique opportunity to experience different modalities of art making in a structured and accessible manner. You will be surprised at what you can learn in a short workshop.
